Study Offers Tips on How to Keep New Year's Resolutions in 2022


With New Year's comes resolutions, and experts say a few simple tips can set a person up for success — no matter what they want to change.

The suggestions come from the University of Pennsylvania's "Behavior Change for Good," a first-of-its-kind collaborative study identifying what motivates people the most to develop regular workout habits.

"The methodology to me is also part of what's so neat about the work, because it shows a different way of doing science that might allow us to gain insights about human behavior change much faster and more efficiently than we ever have before," Dr. Katherine Milkman said.

Renovated space slated to open in 2025 with STEAM Studio, 1 of Florida’s largest aquariums


The iconic destination that is the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium is getting a facelift and a new name. On Nov. 15, the Science Center announced its name change to the Cox Science Center and Aquarium. Palm Beach residents Howard and Wendy Cox gave an unrestricted $20 million lead gift to launch a $45 million capital campaign to fund the Science Center’s expansion and support educational outreach initiatives for economically disadvantaged young people in Palm Beach County. The gift fell on the cusp of the next step in the capital campaign: The Science Center’s 60th anniversary gala, which was held Dec. 4.
