Hurricane Ian may have passed ... but it is NEVER too early (or too late) to be prepared for Mother Nature.
As we are set to begin the month of October - it is still crucial to make sure that you are (and stay) ready and prepared for anything that Mother Nature may send our way. If you are new to Florida - keep in mind that October is usually when we see the most activity in hurricanes and tornadoes, so though we are nearing the end of "hurricane season", sometimes it feels like it has only just begun.
If you were lucky enough to escape the wrath of Ian, consider yourself very fortunate ... however, living in the sunshine state doesn't always guarantee sunny days.
