Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival

July 7, 2022 through July 24, 2022

The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival will celebrate 32 years of its annual tradition this summer

with a live performance of William Shakespeare's Richard II.

Grab your blankets, beach chairs, picnic baskets (or enjoy the food truck concessions) and head on over!

Shakespeare by the Sea is NOT a ticketed event.  This event is presented free of charge to everyone, with a suggested $5 donation made to the “Wishing Will” on site, or via mobile app. 

For both locations, gates open at 6:30 pm with performances starting at 8 pm.

Visit the Museum of Discovery and Science in June to go wild on dinosaurs! Roar and Explore with the Dinosaurs is free with Museum admission during weekends in June.

Families will travel back in time with Dinosaurs in Motion. This exhibit weaves the principles of kinetics, biomechanics, and robotics in their exposed mechanics and movable features for a roaring good time!

What can families do at the Museum?

  • Dino Activities: Future paleontologists will excavate artifacts just like a paleontologist in the field in the Dino Dig Pit. Assess evidence by chipping away fossils with a chocolate chip cookie dig and make-and-take a shark tooth necklace.

Survey the view from above by taking a tour of the Jupiter Lighthouse!

Self-guided tours of the lighthouse and grounds are available from Tuesday through Sunday during regular operating hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Docent-guided tours happen on Tuesday through Friday beginning at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Need more action? Sign up for a Sunset Tour, a Moonrise Tour or children's Story Time. Sunset Tours are available each Tuesday evening. Moonrise Tours happen once a month, on the full moon. Likewise, Story Time is once each month on a Friday morning. Read further for more details.
