SOUTH FLORIDA GARLIC FESTIVAL -- Folks come from near and far to visit the Gourmet Alley and feast on more than 100 garlic-infused delights, ranging from Argentinean garlic BBQ to garlic ice cream to flaming garlic shrimp scampi and listen to toe-tapping tunes. Here’s the musical lineup: Drake White, Eric Hansen, Cliff Dorsey, Stealin’ Peaches, Melina Soochan Trio, Friday at Five Band and the Valerie Tyson Band. But wait, there’s more: full beer and liquor bars, a brand new and enhanced children’s zone and about 180 exhibitors selling art, homemade goods and other products. No wonder it’s called the “Best Stinkin’ Party in South Florida.”
