3-Ways to Stand out

In a world where not only do you have a main hustle, but now most people are busy with a side hustle and it seems everyone is fighting to get the same piece of cheese -- so how do you stand out?

Social media is where it's at, but if you don't know what you are doing, you will get swallowed up in the black hole of repetitive posting and consuming technology.

As a realtor - you have your usual listings, open houses and sales numbers that you want to promote - but then again, so does everyone else - and suddenly all this information becomes repetitive and boring.

The discerning real estate audience is looking for fun relevance towards the community and to the market, along with education and expertise.   Why not take a different approach to client relationships and communication with some authenticity and some of that irresistible charm and bubbling personality?

Here are 3 ways for winning on digital media.

1.  BE UNIQUE - Post unusual items and unique home tips

Create your own content.  Posting weekly videos to share your favorite home items & tips in home design, decor and other things - such as what you love about the territory that you are focusing on to draw the interest of new buyers and sellers.

Why not put yourself in a prospective client's shoes and figure out what kind of information/content you would want to see available for a homeowner's journey and bring that to your audience.

Let people know that you can show them a thing or two.  Give people a reason to engage and to want to work with you.

Remember - just a quick post or video may take only seconds on your part, but the positive draw you gain can lead to a substantial working client/agent relationship.

2.  POSITIVE IMPACT - LOCALLY

Think about posting a regular feature to promote local businesses and owners who are committed to quality and customer service.

Put yourself out there in the community and get to know the local businesses. Create posts and include photos of you together with the workers and/or the owner(s), attached to a brief plug of their business and why you value their outstanding customer service.  Draw people into knowing the communities that they want to live in and be a part of.  Show people that you like to connect on a personal level with your community, or the communities that you are doing business in, and add value in building stronger relationships with your clientele. Show people you are inclusive and ready to jump in to be a part of what matters most.

One hand washes another.

3.  CREATE ENERGY - BE FUN AND AUTHENTIC

Express yourself and show that you love what you do.

Get excited about it!

Some people are known for their "happy dances" ... others have signature phrases... What mark can you make in a 3-second quick video to post up on social media to celebrate your closings?  After a closing, friends and family can share in the happiness and leave their comments to help create an energy to celebrate a homeowners purchase or sale.

The end game - you want to make your social media is "different" than everyone else's.  Don't be afraid to spread joy, spread the happiness but most of all - spread reassurance that your client's are and will be in good hands.

Your Vibe is your Tribe!
