Father's Day is this Sunday, May 18th!
Father's Day is the perfect opportunity to show thanks or at least a great meal. Here are several restaurants to take dads to and show them how much you love, respect, and appreciate them on their special day.
Transport dad to 1940s Shanghai on Father’s Day beneath the outstretched limbs of a cherry blossom tree, in the shadow of a 16-foot golden Buddha, or in an antechamber with a soaring ceiling bedecked with inverted white umbrellas. Specials will include dim sum favorites and Chinatown-style staples like Chinese barbecue sticky beef short ribs for $19 (three pieces); a whole Peking duck accompanied with Chinese pancakes for $95 (serves two to four); lo mein noodles topped with huge chunks of garlic king crab for $48; and sweet & sour pork for $23.

This restaurant overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway will offer a Father's Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will feature a special menu item "Fit for a King" that includes an 8-ounce filet, a lobster tail, roasted duck fat potatoes, herbed bone marrow boat and smoked bourbon demi for $95. There will also be a special $20 Father's Day bourbon flight available on the dinner menu, which includes 1 ounce each of Elijah Craig Small Batch, Angels Envy, and Woodford Reserve.

Let Dad dig into a slab of tasty baby back ribs at this Palm Beach Gardens hot spot on his special day. Whether he needs or wants a bib is up to him; just let him go wild. Specially priced at $17.99, the entree also includes fries and coleslaw.

How about treating Dad to an impressive 20-ounce, 30-day dry-aged New York strip with shaved black summer truffles and truffle demi, available exclusively in-restaurant for Father’s Day? Make the meal even more special with classic sides such as lobster mac and cheese and Sam’s mashed potatoes. Make Dad extra happy on his big day with this twist on surf and turf. First there's the Wagyu beef tenderloin and lobster roulade roll for $32, next the entrée of prime churrasco alongside seafood paella and grilled leaks for $75, and to keep the big guy in food heaven, finish off the meal with a bourbon pecan torte with smoked maple ice cream and pralines for $15. There are also several sushi promotions.

In honor of Father's Day, La Goulue will offer special a la carte choices for brunch and dinner. For brunch, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the appetizer will be bacon and Gruyère quiche with petite salad for $22, the main course will be truffled duck egg toast with duck prosciutto grilled asparagus tips for $38 and dessert will feature multi-layered almond cake, coffee buttercream and chocolate ganache for $18. For dinner, from 5 to 10 p.m., the appetizer special is slow-braised, seared sweet and sour pork belly, glazed baby vegetables for $32. The main course will be domestic braised lamb shank in red wine sauce with Yukon gold mashed potatoes for $77 and dessert is the same as brunch. The regular menu will also be available. Fathers will receive a special gift of La Goulue branded golf balls.

Elisabetta's Ristorante and Pizzeria
Both the West Palm Beach and Delray Beach locations will celebrate the day by featuring dry-aged in-house ribeye served bone-in with roasted garlic and rosemary (16 ounces is $44, 24 ounces is $62). Also featured is their linguine con vongole with clams and white wine for $32 and cappellini e calamari with angel hair, calamari, san marzano sauce and calabrian chili peppers for $28

Chichi No Hi (Japanese for Father's Day) dining never tasted so refined. Dads can enjoy an Old Fashioned Pearl craft cocktail for free with the secret password, DADSDAY. They can also experience the Mac Daddy ($16, piece), which is a decadent bite of caviar, truffle, and Wagyu beef handmade just for dad on his special day.

One of The Square's originals, City Cellar will have several specials for dear old Dad on his big day. For an appetizer consider the Wagyu in a Blanket for $17. It features Wagyu beef hot dogs with a house-made puff pastry doused in everything bagel spice. The New York strip steak with asparagus and au poivre for $46 is a good, hearty entrée. Finally, strawberry shortcake for $12 will perfectly round out the day.

Celebrate dads all Father's Day weekend with several barbecue entrees. These include the half rack of BBQ ribs for $17.49, full rack for $26.99, a half rack and wings for $21.99 or a half rack and shrimp for $22.99. Also, dad's first pint (Miller Lite, Blue Moon or Yuengling) is free.
